TARGA 44GT
The class leading Fairline Targa 44GT is the first Failine model to come to market that is fitted with the revolutionary Volvo Penta IPS (Inboard Performance System). The sports cruiser has a brand new Bernard Olesinski hull and is also the smallest Targa to feature Fairline’s GRAN TURISMO retractable roof.
Final test review by Motor Boat Magazine concluded “ What makes the Targa 44 so impressive are its overall workings above and below deck. No individual area feels compromised for the sake of another.”
The magazine finished the review stating – “…when it
comes to practical detailing designed to make you life on board easier and safer, the Targa 44’s star shines very brightly indeed.”
Motor Boats Monthly reviewed the new model in its November issue praising many aspects of the boat. Comments included “…Fairline has created a masterpiece in sports cruiser design…” and “… hats off to the Olensinski design office for delivering yet another easy running hull…”

The Targa 44 is a beamy boat that benefits from luxurious accommodation with up to six berths, a well equipped galley and plentiful stowage. The model even comes complete with the Volvo IPS joystick as standard, allowing owners to effortlessly move the boat diagonally, sideways and rotationally. Innovative!
The fact that over 40 of these dynamic Targas have been ordered to date illustrates Fairline’s success
with this model and the overall demand for its latest generation of Targas.
TARGA 64GT
Fairline’s flagship Targa, the 64GT is an impressive new model that boasts the Fairline developed and protected design GRAN TURISMO retractable roof with pneumatic seal – the most robust system currently available, as well as the largest single unsupported screen of its type in the world.
The first official test can be seen in November’s Motor Boat & Yachting magazine (www.mby.com), which includes fantastic shots taken at the Targa debut event on the French Riviera and refers to Fairline’s design approach. “Their approach is relentless, there’s very little space aboard a Fairline that’s not been put to good use, above or below decks.”
The sophisticated sports cruiser offers owners 6-7 berths, which includes a superb full beam master stateroom amidships and en-suit with electro-opaque partition, which changes the glass from opaque to transparent at the flick of a switch. Recognising Fairline owners’ entertainment requirements, Fairline has transformed its largest Targa and included a spacious outdoor cockpit with galley bar as well as extensive seating and dining facilities. This is complemented by a luxurious deck saloon, lower saloon and galley.
Following the successful debut of these two models, Fairline has announced it will be at the 2008 Collins Stewart London Boat Show with every luxury motor yacht in its range. The Show, which marks the beginning of Fairline’s opportunity to find out more about the Squadron 55, which is scheduled for launch in spring 2008.
