| Suzuki GS150R launched |
SUZUKI India has launched a new bike, the GS150R, marking its entry into the highly competitive 150cc market. According to the factory, the motorcycle has been specially designed to fulfil conflicting demands of acceleration and fuel efficiency. “It can give the mileage of about 50km a litre in city conditions. The bike will be available in the market by January,” said the company's Vice-President Atul Gupta.
“Launch of GS150R is a part of our effort to constantly provide the Indian market with high quality products and services. Suzuki aims to be active in the coming year and this launch is a step in the same direction,” said Suzuki Motorcycle India Joint Managing Director Katsumi Takata. According to Mr. Gupta, the company hopes to launch two bikes every year. |
