| UK boat shoe manufacturer names new managing director |

Chatham Marine has announced that Prabhu Kashap will lead the company as its new managing director. The Exeter-based firm is the largest manufacturer of private-label deck shoes in the UK. It was acquired by the Stuart Marsh Group last November. Kashap has had executive experience as managing director of Ted Baker Footwear, vice president and head of international business at Kickers International, and commercial/marketing director at Scholl Footwear. "We are looking to re-establish and build upon trading relationships with key retailers in the marine industry," said Kashap in a statement. "The service ethos that runs through the Stuart Marsh Group, together with new marketing, sales, service and logistics support, will ensure that the Chatham brand becomes once again recognised as a leading lifestyle option for retailers across Europe." |
